Axis love a competitive pitch. When the BBC were looking for animation studios to bring to life a Gaelic and Welsh language series they approached three of the best studios in the UK. Axis won and the result was the much-acclaimed Colin and Cumberland series.
Our mix of 3D characters with highly distinctive, stylised 2D environments gave the show a unique look which complimented Colin and Cumberland’s quirky humour and helped give it a cult status.
