These commercials directed by David McCue are a great example of his mixed media style. Each commercial is a trip into the imagination of an RTÉ viewer, taking you on a journey through some of the stars and shows featured on the Irish channel.
The project involved shooting live action and still photography in Dublin, creating CG animation and visual effects, and skilful compositing to bring it all together in post. The result is an otherworldly experience that is stylish and needs repeat viewing to catch every detail.
